Generation Force

Year: 2022
Location: Silver Lake, CA

For generations the Power Rangers have protected Earth from various villains that are bent on world domination. The Power Rangers, however, were always able to defeat them and thus restore harmony. It’s been many years now since a villain threatened the peacefulness of Earth and a team of Power Rangers have had to don the Ranger uniform to protect innocent lives. But that peacefulness is about to come to an end.

High on the mountain side, overlooking the city of Silver Lake, scientist Nora Hammond finished work on her latest experiment: a machine that will enhance any strong genetic traits within a person. Dr. Hammond’s hope was to perfect the machine so that it could be used to enhance the abilities of the men and women in the armed forces in hopes that it would cut down on the high number of casualties during war. The machine was in its final stages and Dr. Hammond has only one last thing to do…test it on a human. Not wanting to put anybody at risk, Dr. Hammond chose the only possible candidate she could think of: herself.

But something went terribly wrong. After Dr. Hammond programmed the machine and locked herself inside, something happened to the machine that caused it to malfunction and her entire lab to explode. But Dr. Hammond did not die. She survived the explosion but at a dire consequence. Nora Hammond no longer exists, in her place stands an evil and mutilated woman. Now calling herself Pandora, for she has opened a box that no one should ever have touched, she is bent on turning other humans into beings such as herself. Her mind twisted by the malfunction, Pandora is on the war path to take over Earth, and her first target is Silver Lake.

Over the past two months, six people from Silver Lake have gone missing. Police detective Gregory Scott has been on the case, searching for any clues he can find. But the trail always goes cold, as if the people have simply vanished into thin air. Determined to solve the mystery of the disappearances, Greg will not rest until he has brought all those missing safely home. However, there is a sense of foreboding in his mind. The purple cloud that lingers above the mountain, a reminder to all of the tragic explosion that happened, makes Greg uneasy. Despite the arguments he’s made towards his supervisor to investigate the explosion of Dr. Hammond’s lab, Greg has not had a chance to look into what occurred on the mountain, though he feels that it may be linked to the disappearances in town. It is because of his underlying personal reasons, however, that his superior has not allowed him to go near the mountain. But Greg will not be deterred.

As the disappearances continue to grow in number, Greg can’t stop the nagging feeling in his gut. He feels it’s his duty to stop the disappearances and bring back all the missing people. Couple the search for missing people with the growing problem of random attacks on Silver Lake from mysterious shadowy type figures and Greg knows that he’s going to need to bring in reinforcements. And it’s going to take more than just police officers to stop these attacks. Greg is going to have to bring in the children of some of the greatest heroes of all times. He’s going to need the children of Power Rangers.

Shadows – (everyone)
Pandora’s henchmen. A technology that Pandora recently developed has allowed her to manipulate shadows into actual beings. She uses these Shadows to fight against the Power Rangers. Shadows can mend themselves when injured and the only way to defeat them is to hit them in the neck.

Mutated Townspeople – (everyone)
These are the people that Pandora has kidnapped and enhanced their DNA. The Rangers have to be careful when fighting against these “monsters” as they are real people who can be easily injured if too much force is used. Name: Emma Grayson

Age: 18

Ranger relation(s): Carter and Dana Grayson

Ranger Designation: Black Generation Force Ranger

Weapons/Gear: Generation Force morpher, blaster, Ember Sword

Appearance:

Emma has always been deemed the "cute one" by any who know her. Standing at only 5'5" she is childlike in her looks and doesn't care. Not comfortable being a girly-girl, Emma is most confident and self-assured when she is wearing jeans and a t-shirt. She usually has her long, brown hair pulled back in a ponytail as she hates having her hair loose and in her face. She keeps telling herself that one day she's going to cut her hair short, but has never gotten around to it.

Personality: Emma is a combination of her parents. Like her mother, Emma is a very level-headed girl. She views the world as a puzzle, seeing each and every piece and how they fit together. This makes her a great problem solver. Like her father, Emma is brave and thinks quickly on her feet. She is the first one to step up and face down the bullies. Loyal to a fault, Emma is never one to hesitate to come to the aid of those she loves. Emma is an open-minded and loving girl who makes friends easily and is never without a kind word and smile.

History: Shortly after defeating Queen Banshera, Dana and Carter realized just how much they cared about each other. Their relationship progressed quickly, after dating for four months they were married. With all the action of being a Ranger behind them, Carter and Dana settled into a normal life. Carter continued working as a fire fighter and Dana as a pediatrician.

After two years of marriage, their first child was born. Emma Marie Grayson was a happy and bubbly child. Always a source of laughter for her parents, Emma grew up in a home full of love. When she was three, Dana gave birth to twin boys. Their happy family now complete, Carter and Dana couldn’t have been happier.

Throughout her life, Emma heard the stories about her parents and their Ranger days. She heard all about their heroics and how they fought against Queen Banshera. It was because of these stories that Emma always stood up for those being picked on and bullied on the school yard. She wanted to be as good and heroic as her parents.

When Emma was fifteen, Carter was called in to a four alarm fire. The apartment building was engulfed in white hot flames and about to collapse. But Carter, ever the hero, wanted to make sure that every last person was out of the building. He went for one last sweep. He was inside for only a minute when the entire building collapsed, killing Carter instantly. The Grayson family was overcome with grief at the loss of their husband and father.

Dana did what she could for her grieving children, working hard to give them a good life without Carter. She thought that a change of scenery might help her children, so Dana moved the family to Silver Lake, California. At first, Emma fought against the move, not wanting to leave the place where she had spent so many happy years. But she soon came to think of Silver Lake as her new home as she made friends and created a new life for herself.

Now, three years after Carter’s death, Emma is a thriving young woman. She still mourns the death of her father, but as the eldest child she feels it is her duty to care for her family. Having recently graduated high school, Emma is still contemplating what she wants to do with her life. She feels bad about going away to college and leaving her family, but she doesn’t think that community college is for her either. At a loss of what to do, Emma has decided to take a year off and see where life leads her.

Name: William "Bill" James - BJ

Age: 21

Ranger relation(s):Son of RJ (Jungle Fury Wolf Ranger)

Ranger Designation: Green Generation Force Ranger

Weapons/Gear:Generation Force morpher, blaster, Shadow Bow

Appearance: http://i57.photobucket.com/albums/g204/tacosayian723/Actor_Chris_Evans_Short_Hairstyles2.jpg

William has been described as handsome by some, but his humility would never let him accept the compliment. He is tall with short dark hair. He loves the color green and tried to put it into almost everything he wears. When all else fails, he loves his green chucks and is rarely sen without them.

Personality: William is smart, sarcastic, witty, kind, and a bit of an air head. He loves to help people, give advice, and doesn't like to fight (except as a last resort). He inherited a very zen attitude from his father.

History: William "Bill" "BJ" James was born to Robert "RJ" James and his wife Laurie James. They married in 1999, and BJ was born in 2001. BJ led a normal child hood ,going to school, making friends.

When BJ was 6 his parents divorced. Laurie wasn't happy with RJ spending so much time with his pizza shop and the "power rangers". She attempted to get custody of BJ, but BJ wanted to stay with his father.

RJ began to train BJ in the ways of Pai Zhuq. Everyday after school it was homework than training. BJ was becoming quite proficiant when Dai Shi was released. To keep him safe RJ sent his son to live with his mother in Silver Lake.

Living with his mother was a change for BJ. She was hesitant to let him practice Kung Fu, for fear he would turn out too much like his father. BJ practiced anyway, becoming better and better. When Dai Shi was finally destroyed, BJ was allowed to return to his fathers home. He went back to school and continued with his normal routine.

When BJ graduated high school he had a choice to make. He could go to college and get a degree (something his mother advocated) or he could continue his training and earn his stripes (his fathers preferred course of action). In the end he chose to go to school, and moved back out to Silver Lake near his mother. He is currently studying English in his Junior Year.

Name: Alexander Chan
Age: 19
Ranger relation(s): Cassie Chan (mother), Phantom Ranger (father)
Ranger Designation: Red Generation Force Ranger
Weapons/Gear: Generation Force morpher, Blaster, Fire Blade
Appearance:
http://www.freewebs.com/donnasantos2/ken.jpg
He's Asian. Gets that from his mother. He dresses in anything loose and free-flowing, a habit formed from his martial arts training.

Personality: Alexander is obviously the product of both his parents, even if his father was never around when he was in his formative years. He's kind and trusting toward everyone by default, until they give him a reason to treat them differently. Alex is fiercely protective of his friends, and it takes very little to convince him to get your back. Like his father, Alexander cannot stand the thought of the innocent being oppressed, whether it be entire nations' worth of people, or just the geeky kid from homeroom.

Alexander is confident enough with his martial arts prowess that he rarely feels threatened by anyone expressing hostility toward him, maybe to the point of foolhardiness. He won't ever provoke anyone into a fight, but he certainly won't refuse to fight, either. The few times in school he got in trouble were usually because he was in a fight he would have been better off walking away from. He's mostly learned that discretion is the better part of valor, but he can be the tiniest bit cocky still sometimes.

History: One day, the Phantom Ranger, guardian of the innocent throughout the universe, landed on a planet known as Earth. There, he met the Turbo Rangers, and in particular, one Cassie Chan. The Phantom Ranger was bombarded with emotions he'd never known after meeting this beautiful, intelligent, capable woman. And more, she seemed as struck by him as he was with her. But alas, their love could not be, as the Phantom Ranger was simply an Avatar formed by the Phantom Ruby. His love for her even caused his Ruby to be temporarily stolen by a mere Space Pirate! Clearly, this could not stand.

However, time after time, this Phantom Ranger found himself taking more and more trips to Earth, simply to spy on Cassie. Sure, it was creepy, but the Phantom Ranger was thousands of years old and had never felt this way before. Finally, he broke his solitude, and approached Cassie. She was happy to see him, even after all the time it had been since last they were able to spend time together, and the two spent many a day together.

However, Phantom Ranger was needed in space. In the wake of Dark Specter's downfall, the universe was a dangerous place, and he was needed to defend it. Cassie had fooled herself into thinking that she and Phantom would be able to live quietly together, and she was quite upset. Phantom used the Ruby to merge Cassie's genetic code with the Ruby's power, creating a child who was a combination of both the Phantom Ranger and Cassie herself - a "son", the child of each, even if he wasn't conceived in the traditional way. The child was born a baby, so that Cassie could raise him as her own. The Phantom Ranger trusted her, and with the bestowal of this gift, he departed into space to fulfill his sacred duty, to defend.

Cassie, and the rest of the Space Rangers as an extended family, raised young Alexander as best they could. It was difficult sometimes, being a single mother and unable to explain to anyone who the child's father was and what happened to him, but Cassie loved her son, and loved the Phantom for giving her such a wonderful gift.

Alex had a fairly normal childhood. He had friends, enemies, loves, and losses. Alexander was the apple of his mother's eye. He did well in school, although he wasn't the smartest in his class. He excelled in the karate classes he took after school at the Youth Center, taught by his mother's friend TJ. When he turned ten, Cassie and her friends told Alex about their history as the Power Rangers. TJ had been telling Alexander stories about being a Power Ranger for years already, but Alex had always dismissed them as his 'uncle' exaggerating. This was, like, the coolest thing ever! His extended family saved the world from an alien invasion! From then on, Alex became something of an authority on Power Rangers, even starting a website devoted to chronicling the adventures of the latest teams to appear.

When Alexander graduated high school at eighteen, he finally met his father. The Phantom Ranger had been busy, the universe being particularly turbulent after the fall of Dark Specter, and hadn't been able to make it to Earth until now. Alexander found he had very little in common with his father, taking more after his mother, but this didn't stop him from wanting to get to know the Phantom Ranger as best he could in the short time they had together. For the summer he was home, Alexander felt like they were all a real family, even if the father was entombed in black armor.

In the fall, Phantom left to once again defend the innocent across the universe, and Alexander was accepted into Silver Lake College, majoring in Criminal Justice. The stories of his Ranger heritage had hit home, and Alexander wanted to make a difference. Sure, he wouldn't be making that difference wearing colorful spandex and piloting a giant robot, but helping people was helping people, right?
