Info :

This New Super Mario Bros. is a throwback to the style of the original Super Mario Bros. and allows four players to play the game together.

With the multiplayer mode, the newest installment of the most popular video game franchise is designed to bring yet another type of family entertainment into living rooms and engage groups of friends in fast-paced Super Mario Bros. fun.

Co-op Mario? :D I have wanted this since they started leaving it out. Hell even today me and my friends still play Mario 3 and Mario world. The fact it's co-op on one screen is different to old ones but I'm so exited for this game.

I can't wait for this game to be released...it has been a very long time since I have played Super Marios Bros on the NES and Super NES.

What it needs is online co-op! But oh well not everything can be perfect in the house of Mario. >_<

What it needs is online co-op!

It can't. They said they wanted it but it ultimately couldn't happen as they didn't have enough space on disc. That's better though right? More stuff on disc > online (on wii more so as friends codes suck!)

This game alone will be the only reason I buy a Wii. I have wanted one but after selling my 360 and getting a PS3 I never had enough time to save enough up with bills and all to buy one, but with this came I might just have to try harder.

I still love playing Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros. 3 online. I also loved Super Mario World. I did recently play the Mario game on DS my sister-in-law has. Not sure the title, but it's basically an updated version of Mario 3. Mario 2 I have never cared for.

I knew a game like this would be coming out so I kept the Wii I had and just bought random games I thought would be interesting. So far only 3 have not been re-sold. Anyways, this game should help revitalize the Wii.

I can't wait to try this out. You think it'll let you use the classic controller, because that'll just make it that much better...*nostalgia*

Hmmm...

I don't know about this. I like the idea, but...you know what, I won't judge a book by it's cover. I don't know if I like it yet, so it's to soon to say.

Mama-mia!:D

It quite possible could. Although, using the wiimote with it doesn't seem like it'd be a bad idea either.

friends codes suck!

Yes they do, and sadly I don't see them switching from it now.

They won't which is as shame as the Wii is my favourite console.

This game looks nice, but come on. When will they finally make a fully three-dimensional Mario game where you and a friend can play through with Mario AND Luigi? I liked Super Mario 64 and I'd like to play Super Mario Sunshine and Super Mario Galaxy, but all three have a fundamental flaw: no co-op with Luigi. When I first heard about Super Mario 64, I figured there would be a co-op mode with Luigi, but no. Yoshi is in the game, but only as an Easter egg after you gain access to both the winged cap and the cannon outside of the castle. There are a number of other things that I really wish the game designers had carried over from the old games but didn't, like the fire flower power-up or using a yellow cape instead of that goofy winged cap. If it just isn't technically possible to include Luigi in a co-op mode yet, fine, but I wish I could at least read or hear some commentary on why a co-op mode with Luigi hasn't been included yet.

Excuse me. I need to change my pants, now.

That was incredibly awesome. Too bad Nintendo NEVER lowers their prices on Wii games. (At least they haven't so far.)

I just can't bear the thought of spending $50.00 on a game. $30.00, maybe, but $50.00? Not when there's $20.00 value, or Player's Choice games. Sure, it sucks waiting, but it's worth it considering most games in my collection collect dust after awhile. I can deal with that at $20.00+, but not $50.00

That's a guaranteed case of buyer's remorse, right there.

The reason is simple, they still sell. The first party games on wii = the best games on wii. With Game cube when they did the budget re-releases it was because they had stopped selling as well so Nintendo did it to milk more more money from it.

It sucks I agree but video games is a business and business wise there is no point in lowering prices if it still says strong.
